Blue Heron Wine Tasting & Art Auction

We held our Blue Heron Wine Tasting & Art Auction on March 24, 2023 to celebrate ACCA’s 20 years of operation. 155 people attended.

WINE TASTING & LIVE JAZZ

We also had a lot of fun! Harry's Wine of Fairfield offered 24 varieties of wine for tasting and the Black Rock Yacht Club provided fabulous hors d'oeuvres, including crab cakes and coconut shrimp as well as a cheese station. Wayne Hiller played lovely jazz piano.

 We want to thank Picture This of Westport who loaned us easels and helped provide our artists with framing.

FUNDRAISER

The art auction was very successful. We want to thank our artists and bidders for a contributing to our cause. We also want to thank Harry's Wine of Fairfield for offering 10% of the wine sales to ACCA, the amount has not yet been determined.

VENUE

The Black Rock Yacht Club created a warm and elegant water view setting for the event. The food was great and the service was excellent. We want to thank Bruce Hubler, who serves on the Board of the BRYC, and generously donated $1,000 towards our venue & catering expenses for the Blue Heron event. Ticket purchases covered most of the remaining venue & catering costs.

We also want to thank Scott Green, the General Manager, and Holly Stevens at the Black Rock Yacht Club for making this night so special. The Black Rock Yacht Club is taking new members for those of you who are interested.
